American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career as an actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She was later a reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the short-lived series The Ex List. In the premiere season, she played the character of Moira O'Hara as an untried Moira and in the second season she played Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters from the animated series Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family were able to move around for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue her acting career.
